I would say, trying to understand what I’m being sold. There are so many different types of life insurance now, finding an agent that will take the time to explain things in laymen’s terms is very important.

Life insurance quotes is complicated but not that bad. I just did the same thing and got a great Term Life policy for me and my kids and grand daughter. It pays off the mortgage and other medical expenses, plus burial and final expenses. Six people(and I’m a smoker) for only $ 62 a month. It does reassure me that in the event (which is always possible) that anyone dies (God forbid) we won’t have to struggle with trying to give them a respectable, decent burial and try to go on with our lives.
***My police includes an even split for 5 people of $ 100,000.*** if I go first. I have all of my insurance ( car, home and life) with Farmers Ins. Group.
I had no difficulties. I did mostly everything over the phone. My agent( I have the greatest agent in the world) sent me everything I had to sign and in about a week I got the call that everything was approved. It was all painless. I sent the first premium and I was done.

My husband has no life insurance at all. He has diabetes and he had a heart attack eleven years ago (and has been very stable ever since) but as soon as you mention diabetes, their offer is off the table.

I am younger than he, in my fifties, good health and do not need to take medication for anything so I have life insurance.

The worst thing is all the paperwork you have to go through and in hubby’s case, the medical.

I try not to worry about life insurance because I feel that I will be able to make it one way or another. Insurance companies are wonderful until you make a claim……..*sigh*

You will probably find that because you are younger, you don’t have as many problems.

No it does not.

While insurance companies do look at a persons credit now to help set rates, this is a soft pull and has no affect on your credit score.

a credit card, YES, i does drop it like 5 to seven points.

insurance quotte i do not know about. However i think that it is discrimination that insurance companies are now using that information to screw you over,

Just another excuse to raise your rates.

Call company #3 which is a broker and they’ll quote company #1, company #2, and handfuls or dozens of others. The price for companies 1-100 are the same through the broker. AND, when your rates go up later or you have issues you don’t have to start from scratch. You just call your broker and have them find you new coverage.
